"If I were asked to give what I consider the single most useful bit of advice for all humanity, it would be this: Expect trouble as an inevitable part of life, and when it comes, hold your head high. Look it squarely in the eye, and say, I will be bigger than you. You cannot defeat me."

That may sound a little corny, but as you repeatedly read them words, it somehow gave you the motivation to lead life with full of pride and strength. I pinned up random motivational quotes at the working desk, and stare at the scribbled words when things are pretty tense at work. Ah, work. Everybody is secretly playing the hating game and I hate that the most. I never want to know what's going on, as long as it has nothing to do with me. I very much want to be the neutral one, but somehow I always get this feeling that 'it doesn't pay to be nice, missy'. Just shut up, will you? It's better to keep quiet when you have nothing to say, than saying the wrong things and land yourself in trouble.

God tested my strength yesterday when Dad told me what seemed to be a sad news. I don't know, Dad. I'm sorry if my silent reply disappoint you. I lost for words, and I simply don't know how to react. As far as I see it, there's always a reason behind everything that has happened. Either God wants to save you, or has better plans for you. Whatever you decide to do, you know we will always give you our support. You have been our pillar of strength, and you will always be, Dad.

Life with the boyfriend is slowly getting off-track. It's tough to plan our dates nowadays. Last minute schedule will either pop up or, or that's it. What could be worst than a last minute changes? Plus, shift and eight-to-five will never be bestfriend. It's the hardest thing to live with when I'm talking about working life. And it's totally a different thing when you have a choice to choose, because right now, I'm talking about 'you don't have a choice, love'. Don't worry boyfriend, you got me. We chose this path of life, and I know it's for the future. xoxo.

See, I told you the above quote isn't that corny afterall. Dig in, people.
